Kisame Hoshigaki

7 Naruto Characters Who Fought Tailed Beasts And Survived

Tailed Beasts are considered to be chakra monsters, with strength that is normally impossible to match.

This is one of the main reasons why they cannot be tamed via normal methods. There are very few characters in Naruto who’ve tried fighting Tailed Beasts, and even fewer have emerged alive to tell the story.

Today, I’ve made a list of characters who fought against a Tailed Beast, and survived.
Note: The Otsutsuki aren’t included.
Let’s begin—

7. Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke Uchiha susanoo

Sasuke Uchiha is one of the strongest characters in Naruto series. He famously fought Killer Bee and Gyuki at Kumogakure, where he was nearly annihilated.

However, with the help of his teammates, he managed to somehow beat Bee. He also paralyzed all 9 Tailed Beasts at once, thanks to his Rinnegan.

6. Third Raikage

Third Raikage

The Third Raikage was known as the strongest ever Raikage in Kumo’s history. He was such a monster that he was often compared to Tailed Beasts.

In his lifetime, he didn’t even receive a single wound from an opponent. What’s more, he once famously fought Gyuki head to head.

He even managed to sever one of its horn. Gyuki himself praises his skill to be able to fight against it.

5. Kisame Hoshigaki

Kisame Hoshigaki

Kisame Hoshigaki was a member of the Akatsuki, who was also known as the Tail-less Tailed Beast.

He had immense chakra reserves. 30% of his powers forced Guy to open the 6th Gate. Kisame also went head to head against Killer Bee, and dominated the battle for the most part.

Since it was his plan to spy on him, it is unclear what the true outcome would’ve been. Still, he did survive this encounter.

4. Killer Bee

Killer Bee

Killer Bee is also known as the strongest weapon of Kumogakure. He is the Perfect Jinchuuriki of Gyuki, which makes him one of the strongest characters in the series.

Bee was able to fight against several Tailed Beasts during the 4th Great Ninja War. He was able to fight Isobu and Kokuo specifically. It was evident that he possessed skill superior to both.

3. Hashirama Senju

Hashirama is one of the Strongest Naruto anime Characters

Hashirama Senju was the first Hokage of Konoha. As you may know, he had the Wood Release Kekkei Genkai, which had the ability to put any Tailed Beast under its control.

Hashirama Senju fought the 9 Tails at the Valley of End, where he put him under control using a similar method.

It is said that he had several Tailed Beasts under his control during that time.

2. Madara Uchiha

Madara Uchila is one of the Strongest Naruto anime Characters

Madara Uchiha is one of the strongest Naruto characters to ever exist. He was the main antagonist of the 4th Great Ninja War arc, along with Kaguya Otsutsuki.

Madara possessed tremendous combat abilities. During this war, he was able to go up against all 9 of the Tailed Beasts all alone. And this was without any of his Rinnegan.

Madara was able to solo them all. Eventually, he was able to seal them all in the Gedo Mazou, and become the Jinchuuriki of the Ten Tails.

This is a feat that very, very few characters can pull of in the Naruto world, and Madara Uchiha is one of them.

1. Naruto Uzumaki

7th Hokage Naruto Uzumaki 2

Naruto Uzumaki is the Seventh Hokage of Konoha. He’s also the Perfect Jinchuuriki of Kurama, and has the chakra of 8 other beasts as well.

Naruto Uzumaki Al’s fought five Tailed Beasts during the 4th Great Ninja War all alone. He was able to overpower them all.

If you take into account that he didn’t even have the Six Paths chakra then, it is a very impressive feat.

Naruto remains one of the most powerful characters in the series, and definitely the strongest in the world right now. This just goes to show how far he has come as a character.
