Is Boruto Worth Watching?

Definitely yes, Boruto worth watching. You get to see the new generation of naruto and their adventure.

But there are some additional things you should consider too first, like the anime has both anime canon and manga canon, in addition to filler and mixed canon/filler episodes. And the beginning arcs like the Team seven arc and the Hidden Mist arc can be skipped.

While anime canon always worth watching, can’t say much about the fillers since they add little to nothing to the main story of the anime.

Is Boruto mostly filler?

So far, Boruto anime has been mostly filler episodes. In 2020 Boruto: Naruto Next Generations anime finally begin adapting the major manga canon, now is the perfect time for Naruto fans to pick up the series. Not to mention Vessel arc has also started.

Why Boruto is full of fillers? New anime series would need to build up an audience with a run of quality episodes at the outset, Boruto already has a ready-made fan base and therefore there is less pressure to rush into adopting the manga canon since Naruto fans will surely stick around regardless.

Should you watch Boruto filler?

You can skip the fillers since they give little to no contribution to the main storyline. Still, if you are a fan of Boruto, then there is no issue in watching them. You get o know about present-day leaf village and other details about Naruto.

if you are just interested in the main story, most of the fillers not worth watching. There are some fillers episodes that you might enjoy like Shikadai’s Decision (ep 97) and Team 25 (ep 115).

Naruto is better then Boruto, there should be no comparison between them. The beginning few episodes are pretty lame, and have no relevance to the main plot, except for a few. But then, after that, the anime actually gets pretty good.
