In Naruto, we have witnessed some of the most unbelievable crimes. The criminals who have committed these crimes are actually loved by the fans.
However, most of these criminals were punished sooner or later in the series. So, today I have made a list of the most notorious criminals in Naruto.
10. Hidan
We start off with Hidan of Yugakure. He was a missing S-rank ninja. He is the follower of Lord Jashin. Hidan slaughtered every one of his neighbors before leaving the village.
According to Jashinism, killing and destruction were very necessary. So, Hidan began killing countless people. Later, he joined the Akatsuki.
9. Sasori
Sasori was actually a war hero of Sunagakure in the second great ninja war. However, after the end of the war, Sasori defected from the village.
Sasori had a habit of making puppets so before leaving the village he killed the Third Kazekage and turned him into a puppet.
8. Kinkaku and Ginkaku
They are also known as the Gold and Silver brothers. Both of them were from Kumogakure. They were the distant relatives of the Sage of six paths.
The brothers even tried to capture the nine tails. But, Kurama swallowed them instead. They survived after eating the flesh of the tailed beast.
The brothers were responsible for the killing of two Kage. The first one was Tobirama Senju and the other one was the Second Raikage.
7. Itachi Uchiha
Itachi was a missing S-rank ninja of the Hidden Leaf. He was responsible for the slaughter of Uchiha clan.
He was forced to do it. But, it doesn’t change the fact that he was responsible for the death of hundreds of people.
6. Kakuzu
Kakuzu was a criminal of Takigakure. He was considered to be highly talented. Kakuzu was sent to battle Hashirama Senju by the elders of his village.
But, he was beaten by the First Hokage. After returning from the village, Kakuzu killed the elders of his village and took away some highly precious scrolls.
5. Orochimaru
Undoubtedly, he is one of the most notorious criminals in Naruto. Orochimaru is a member of the legendary Sannin.
His selfish desires proved to problematic for the villagers. Orochimaru is responsible for the death of many people.
Most of them died because of his experimentations. He is also responsible for the killing of the Third Hokage.
4. Kabuto Yakushi
Kabuto used to be the right-hand man of Orochimaru. Currently, he is the owner of an orphanage in Konoha.
Kabuto became one of the most feared criminals because of his contribution in the fourth great ninja war.
He made the reanimated jutsu much better and reanimated some of the most powerful shinobi of all time.
3. Obito Uchiha
Obito is arguably one of worst criminals of all time. He has been the key figure in most of the tragedies that happened in the series.
He was responsible for the death of Minato and Kushina. Plus, he started the fourth great ninja war.
Obito killed seven of the nine jinchūriki present in the series. He was also responsible for manipulating the fourth Mizukage.
2. Kisame Hoshigaki
Kisame was originally a very loyal person. He would go to any level to complete his mission and protect his village.
After learning the truth about Fuguki, Kisame killed him and took away the Samehada.
Kisame was responding for many assassins which included the killing of a daimyo of another country.
1. Sasuke Uchiha
So, the final character on the list is Sasuke Uchiha. Even he was pardoned for his crimes, he still remains one of the most notorious criminals in the series.
Sasuke started off by killing Danzo, who was the acting Hokage at that time.
He desperately wanted to destroy Konoha. After sealing away Kaguya, he tried to kill all the present Kage. Sasuke also fought against Naruto and tried to kill him as well.
